Chamonix Ice Climbing Improvement Course in

This training course is addressed to the people
practising already the winter mountaineering or
ice fall climbing and wishing to go further.
We will go climbing together Ice Gullies which
seemed to you inaccessible.
You will learn to tame a wild environment. |

of 2, With your safety in mind and to
ensure you get the most enjoyment from your course,
we restrict the munber of persons per guide to
two in all instance. |

Training : |
- Develop your skills on snow, ice and
snow and rock (“mixed”)
- Learn to belay and lead
- Efficient use of safety equipment on this
terrain (including ice screws, nuts, ice
axe etc )
- Evaluate Ice and Snow conditions
|

Course Price : |
For 1 person : 1500 €.
2 people sharing : 750 €/person
The price of the course includes :
The price does not include lift tickets and
half board accomodation in a gite. You should
estimate between 200 and 250 euros for this.
We can organise anything for you, from a week's
climbing package with accommodation, transfers
from the airport with our partner Mont Blanc

Chazal¨ Ice gully at the Farrar spire3660
m >Argentière hut.
Nice ice gully, the climbing
grade is IV, 85° max and 300m, we will spend
the night in Argentiere hut

Tuesday : |
¨Petit Viking¨
Ice gully at the Domino spire ( 3648 m ) >
Chamonix.
Early start. We climb the grade
IV gully and build your confidence during this
500m. 80° max
|
|
Wednesday : |
¨Vogler¨ Ice
gully > Cosmiques ridge ( 3800 m ) >Cosmiques
hut.
Ice climbing on a narrow ice
gully, 300m, grade IV+ and 80° max, with
some mixte climbing
|
|
Thursday : |
¨Gabarrou-Albinoni¨Ice
gully Mont Blanc du Tacul Est face ( 4054 m
) > Chamonix.
It's a serious ice gully today,
with thin ice and dry tooling section. The climbing
is fantastic . Grade V, 85° and 500m
|
|
Friday : |
¨Ravanel-Frendo¨
Ice gully at Carre spire (3716 m ) > Chamonix.
For the last day we will go climbing
a nice route with only on hard pitch . It's
a 300m ice gully, grade V and 90° max.
